Brian Moore Wins William Hill Sports Book of the Year Award

Gaudio Awards have once again produced the "world's richest sports book prize" for William Hill. The William Hill Sports Book of the Year is dedicated to rewarding excellence in sports writing. This year's winner, Beware Of The Dog, is an autobiography by Telegraph columist Brian Moore.

Graham Sharpe, the co-founder of the William Hill prize said of Moore's book, “As a trained solicitor and a lover of opera, fine wine and Shakespeare, Brian Moore is no ordinary sportsman,” Sharpe said. “So it follows that this is no ordinary book. It’s a fascinating exploration of what lies beneath the tough exterior of one of England’s greatest rugby players.”

Gaudio Supplies Great Scot Awards

Gaudio Awards again provided the custom trophies for the 20th annual Great Scot awards. The prestigious ceremony, held at the Glasgow Hilton, celebrates the unsung heroes and community champions of Scotland.

Stars such as Michelle McManus, Natalie Robb, Aggie MacKenzie and Ultimo boss Michelle Mone turned out to celebrate ordinary Scots who have achieved the extraordinary.

Winners on the night included actor Tony Roper, actor and director David Hayman (pictured), singer Amy Macdonald, bowler Willie Wood and business woman Jennifer Cheyne. The night's main award went to a couple who epitomise what it means to be truly Great Scots. For 30 years, May and Gerry have selflessly opened up their home to more than 150 vulnerable children.

World Hovercraft Championships

The winners of the Hovercraft World Championships were presented with their awards at the Towcaster race course last month, and the Hovercraft Club of Great Britain were thrilled:

"Dealing with Gaudio has been a pleasure. From the initial enquiry they took onboard everything we have asked for, continuing to produce designs as things changed. I feel they go the extra mile to make sure the client is entirely satisfied. The Hovercraft club of Great Britain were extremely impressed with the service and quality of the awards."

Drivers from all over the world competed in this exciting 5 day multi-formula racing event at the prestigious venue of Towcester Racecourse. Racing hovercraft travel just six inches off the ground and reach speeds of up to 80 miles per hour, with no brakes! Take a look at this YouTube video to see the action:
